August Paw Print – Back to School
The Centennial Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) would like to welcome all of our Husky families to the new school year!
As a team of parents, staff members, and community members, we are committed to investing our time, energy, and resources toward enabling all students to reach their full potential, academically and otherwise. Through volunteering and fundraising, we support efforts to create the best possible learning environment at our school with an emphasis on making the school experience enjoyable, meaningful, and memorable for everyone connected to Centennial Elementary.
Volunteers are vital to the success of our school. We are thankful for anything and everything you can share by way of time and energy. To help you find the volunteer opportunities that fit you best, please complete Volunteer Interest Form by Friday, August 26th.
You can also pick up the form from the front desk at school. If you are joining us after the 26th, please know that we’re always welcoming more volunteers. We greatly appreciate your support!
SAVE THE DATE!
PTO has monthly meetings open to everyone. These meetings are one of the great ways that you can stay informed and learn about how to get involved with what is going on at Centennial Elementary. We will be meeting at the Centennial Elementary Library at 6:30pm on the following days. Don’t forget to mark your calendar!
Popsicles with PTO!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to grab a Popsicle at our “Popsicles with the PTO” event that was held during Open House. Our board members thoroughly enjoyed seeing and meeting so many wonderful Husky families! If you snapped any pictures from the event that you would be willing to let us share, please email them to us at email@example.com.
Annual Fall Fundraiser!
Keep your eyes open for information about our Annual Fall Fundraiser. Kickoff will take place on Tuesday, August 30th and the fundraiser will run until Tuesday, September 13th. Our ultimate goal is to raise at least $25,000 so that we can fund advancements in technology at our school, pay for field trip transportation, provide various learning resources and supplies for our classrooms, as well as make other various PTO projects that enhance the growth and development of our students possible. We have big dreams for our school, and we need your help to make them a reality!
Remember to collect and send in Box Tops for Education and caps from Longmont Dairy products. To learn more about these opportunities to earn Free Money for our school, please visit our website!
